I’m a designer and researcher who thrives in complexity and in working with creative teams. I have worked in and studied various design disciplines. My core design values sit in social, critical, and specualtive design.
I love working on projects where I can put my curiosity and vast skillset to work (I am often told I ask too many questions). I also love projects with passionate people behind them who want to create new physical and digital spaces with purpose, and I love making their vision happen.
I’m especially interested in how design can spark discourse and open up new ways of being. I use research, non-digital and digital tools, and experimental means of doing and thinking, to bring projects to life.
I am currently employing design in artist development as I build my own grass root Art Organisation in London called Hazaz. At Hazaz I experiment with different formats of coming together through art, music, and making.
I am developing projects through my art practice where I explore themes of memory, identity, displacement, and ecological dreaming.
I’m always looking for opportunities to learn, grow, give, and make meaningful things with good people. Let's collaborate.
I speak Arabic and English.
Currently based in London, UK.
